Data we collect

Through the contact and newsletter forms we collect name, email address, optional engagement interest, year-end date, and message content. During engagements we may process additional business contact details, board minutes, and accounting records necessary to perform the audit. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Purposes

We use inquiry data to respond to scoping requests and schedule calls. Engagement data is used to plan and perform audits, communicate findings, and meet professional record-keeping duties. Newsletter addresses are used only to send occasional ledger notes unless you unsubscribe.

Legal bases

Processing is based on pre-contractual steps at your request, performance of an engagement contract, legitimate interests in operating a professional practice, and—where required—consent for optional analytics cookies.

Retention

Inquiry messages are retained for up to 24 months unless they lead to an engagement. Engagement workpapers and correspondence are retained for periods required by Japanese professional and commercial record rules, typically at least seven years for audit files. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Subject to Japanese law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data we hold, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@techinfracloud.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Japanese authority for personal information protection.

International transfers

We primarily store and process data in Japan. If a tool or correspondence provider processes data outside Japan, we take steps consistent with applicable transfer rules and will describe those providers on request.

Security

Access to inquiry mailboxes and engagement files is limited to personnel with a professional need. Devices used for fieldwork are access-controlled. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal data through the website form.
